Other than listening to my cats running with their nails! not paws only.....I helped out at the National Cancer Society of Malaysia! Kudos to me! It has been a while and frankly speaking, it was hard to start volunteering again. Im so used to being paid every second i spent on something! BUT! But....i got through and feeling better than before! Here I wanna share with you the one thing that caught my attention. Relay For Life. When i saw it, i thought it's just another camp similar to tehe Youth Camps churches often organises..but i was wrong. Take a minute of your time and buffer this clip here and let it explain to you what is Relay For Life (RFL) is all about.

Malaysia will be holding it's Relay For Life from the 30th May to the 31st May 2009, for 16 hours. It'll be at Bukit Jalil. Registration is ONLY RM10 per person. There will be performances overnight, activities such as candle light, drawings etc. Celebrities will also join in to show support! Tents and food will be on sale throughout the night and probably movies underneath the starlights!
To me, the best part about RFL is the part where we come together as one family to support and appreciate those cancer survivors and celebrate their bravery. Yes, money and donatioan will help BUT your presence and support is more important. So participate in this with a whole group of friends and enjoy the night! Once a year spent, feeling blessed is the true happiness what no money can buy.
